All About the Herb Echinacea
These are definitely one of my favorite flowers. They bloom from June to September so I was lucky enough to catch a couple ‘end of the season blooms.’
💩 Echinacea stimulates the immune system. It has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used as a natural pain reliever. It can also be helpful in treating mild to moderate constipation.
🦠 Research indicates that Echinacea may help shorten the duration and severity of a cold and flu if used early, and may even reduce your overall chances of catching a cold or flu. It can also help prevent secondary infections from occurring.
🧖🏻♀️ Studies show that Echinacea has wonderful skin health benefits by reducing acne, improving skin’s hydration, and increasing collagen production.
There may be some contradictions for those with an autoimmune disease or on certain medications, so always consult with your physician or herbalist.
