What is Fire Cider?

Fire Cider is a tasty vinegar infusion with warming wellness-supporting ingredients that can help boost your body’s natural health processes, stimulate digestion, boost energy, ward off colds and flus, ease sinus congestion, and curb cravings.

This is super quick and easy to make!

Fire Cider Recipe:

Ingredients:
🌿 1 whole garlic bulb, smashed
🌿 1 whole lemon, sliced and squeezed
🌿 1/2-1 onion, chopped
🌿 3-inches fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
🌿 3-inches fresh turmeric root, thinly sliced
🌿 2 tbsp. horseradish
🌿 1 tbsp. dried astragalus root
🌿 Handful fresh rosemary
🌿 Handful fresh spearmint
🌿 Sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes
🌿 Raw apple cider vinegar
🌿 1/3-1/4 cup raw local honey, or to taste (for later!)
🌿 You may also add in cinnamon sticks, dried echinacea root, or use powder herbs if fresh is unavailable.

Directions:
💥 Clean ingredients and place all ingredients (besides apple cider vinegar and honey) in a large mason jar.
💥 Pour the apple cider vinegar in the jar until all of the ingredients are nicely covered.
💥 Cover tightly and shake well. You may use a piece of natural parchment paper under lid to keep vinegar from touching metal/plastic.
💥 Leave the jar on the counter and shake daily.
💥 After 4 weeks, strain out the herbs/ingredients and reserve the liquid.
💥 Add the honey (you may warm the honey first so it mixes well).
💥 Your fire cider should taste hot, spicy, and sweet — “A little bit of honey helps the medicine go down 🍯…” – Rosemary Gladstar.
💥 Rebottle the fire cider and enjoy!
💥 Fire Cider will keep for several months unrefrigerated if stored in a cool area or refrigerated.
💥 Take a small shot daily as a tonic or take more frequently if a cold is coming on/your immune system is battling something.
